“Less is more” is one of the most important concept for me. The book named “The power of less” shows the concept and the method clearly.
First, the author shows why “Less” is powerful. Because “Less” is easy for us to focus on something of an essential. I totally agree with it!
Second, he shows that it is important to keep the situation less and simple and focused. And making the habit is needed to keep less. The thought that is continuously improvement looks like a Kaizen culture in Japan.
After that, he shows a lot of practice, how to set goal and project, how to divide to tasks, and how to do the time management and the examples include E-mail, Internet, filing, de-cluttering, fitness and so on.
I read same author’s book named “The Simple Guide to a Minimalist Life” by the momentum to read this book. It shows many tips about how to live with less. It includes principles and tips in many situations like home, workspace, computer, travel, food and fitness. I think that the author and I are similar. Athlete, love family, Cropped hair!, and so on.
I like the book, the thought, the methods and the author.
